We seek to provide an effective and efficient procurement service to the Ingonyama Trust and the Ingonyama Trust Board (ITB) and its stakeholders through procurement best practices and optimal resource management, in compliance with the Ingonyama Trust Board policies and relevant procurement regulatory framework. The Ingonyama Trust Board is committed to affirmative procurement consistent with the South African Constitution and the approved DTI Codes of Good Practice issued in terms of the BBBEE Act No. 53 of 2003.
The ITB does not guarantee payment to any supplier which does not have an official ITB purchase order or an ITB signed contract regarding the service rendered or goods provided.
Invitation for suppliers to register on the Central Supplier Database.
To comply with Section 76(4)(c) of the Public Finance Management Act and ensure a competitive process, the Ingonyama Trust Board invites all suitable and interested prospective suppliers and service providers to apply for registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The CSD is a single database that serves as the source of all supplier information for all spheres of government, including public entities such as the ITB. The main purpose of this database is to reduce the duplication of efforts and costs for both the suppliers and the various spheres of government, while enabling electronic procurement processes. As of 1 April 2016, all spheres of government have been allowed to only do business with suppliers that are registered on the CSD.
